Education: Bachelor of Fine Arts (Ceramics & Drawing) Metropolitan State College of Denver (now Metropolitan State University) / Master of Library Science Emporia State University (Kansas)

Bio: Post-Seaholm, I enjoyed most of my time at Univ of Mich but not all of it! Eventually, I earned a BFA in ceramics and drawing at Metro State College in Denver. (That 2-year stint is one of my favorite life segments.) Immediately after college graduation, I entered a Library Science extension program through Emporia State Univ and completed an MLS. The program ran weekends so I was able to work 2 part time library related jobs. Those jobs and my two professional jobs were for companies providing IT services to libraries so I never actually had a job in a library after high school (although I worked in bookstores for B. Dalton). Remember those paper cards that made up the library catalog? I converted boxes of them into machine readable records and loaded them into electronic catalogs. There is hardly any aspect of this that I did not do, from customer service, project implementation, programming to website & server maintenance. It took me to Chicago, Phoenix, Seattle, Singapore & the Netherlands. My standard Poodle, Piper is 10 years old now & we are still working on the bucket list. See pics. Piper does not actually care about the bucket list but she loves getting out & doing competitive obedience, agility, nosework and tracking with me.
