Bio: After graduation from Seaholm in 1970, I attended Adrian College with Laurie Cone and Lindsay Richards! It was great to have a couple of Seaholm friends along to begin our next adventure in education.

I completed 2 years there and transferred to the University of Detroit School of Dentistry where, after 2 more years, I graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 1974. I started working for 3 dentists in Redford Township and worked for them for 10 years. During that time I met and married Duncan Macpherson and moved to Windsor, Ontario, where I still live today.

When I became pregnant with Heather, my first born, I began making plans to leave my office in Redford, take my Ontario Licensing Board and find a new job in Windsor. Just before I had Heather, I became a Registered Dental Hygienist in Ontario in 1984. I have been working for an office close to where I live for 30+ years now. This July (8th, to be exact!) I will have been cleaning teeth for 46 years!! And surprisingly still love it!!

I have four beautiful daughters...Heather, Katie, Sara and Meaghan. I am very blessed that they all live close by and I am able to see them often.
Heather is married to Mike and they have 2 adorable children...a boy, Callum (4) and a girl, Adelaide (18 months). I love them to the moon and back! Heather is an RN and has lovely 12 hour shifts, day and night, so I help out whenever I can (along with Mike's parents) watching the grandchildren. By the way, I am "Nanny" to Callum and Adie and love to hear them say it! Adie is just starting to say words we can understand!!
Katie is a hairdresser and esthetician. Sara is a Cardiovascular Technician and a bartender. Meaghan is also a Cardiovascular Technician. None of my other girls are married yet, but all have common law partners!!

Duncan and I decided to separate in 2000 and then divorced 5 years after that. We have remained friends for the girls and ourselves. Actually, we are better friends...not together!! I am very happy on my own and keep busy with many things. I sing in a local church choir and am very active in my own church. I still live in the family home, all the girls have places of their own. There is always something that needs to done around the house so I keep busy with the upkeep of being a homeowner. With my family and friends around, I am not a bit lonely! I am close to retirement, but not there yet! I still love cleaning teeth and do my best to make it as pleasant a visit as going to the dentist can be!! I am considering retirement in maybe 2 years...we'll see!

I am so looking forward to seeing you all at the Reunion! 50 years folks...5 decades out of high school!! Something we can all be proud and blessed to celebrate! I can hardly wait to give each of you a big hug! I'm sure there will be tears involved too!! See you all there! Pam
