The 2020 Reunion is a year away from today! Friday, July 10, 2020.
We will be celebrating FIFTY years since graduation!
In the coming months I will be setting up a website to keep everybody up to date, act as “The 2020 Piper” if you will, purchase tickets, see who is attending, etc.
In the meantime, we have a facebook group page “Seaholm Class of 1970” which can act as “The 2020 Highlander”. Please check it out and request to join.
I have continued on with my classmate search and though pleased with my results there are many more still not found. If you would like to help in the search, please contact me.
At our last reunion we had three peripheral events: Friday Night Pub Crawl, Saturday Morning Tour of the School and the Sunday Morning Memorial Service. Things will need to get changed around because this Reunion will be on Friday due to expenses. If you have ideas about schedule and events please let me know.
I can only do what I can do. You are the ones who can make this the reunion you want by making sure you get to spend time with your best friends. Start planning now, call friends you want to see, book housing together - better yet, book a cottage for a week. This is the best time for a vacation in Michigan. Plan a picnic, a golf outing, tennis tournament, stroll the grounds at Cranbrook, explore the rejuvenating downtown of Detroit, visit the Detroit Institute of Art, take a Detroit River dinner cruise. There’s much to do. If you have a great idea for an event with an open invitation for all, we’ll put it on the website.
The countdown has begun. Look forward to more announcements.
