Mid-March 2020 CORONAVIRUS CONTINGENCY PLAN

Hello.

I hope this letter finds you all well and protecting yourselves against the virus.

The sign on the door of The Community House says ‘Closed Indefinitely'.

The terms of the agreement with The Community House require a half payment of the total costs, due on June 9th, so this becomes the date that a decision to proceed or postpone must be made.

It should be clear on June 9 whether or not it is safe to proceed; The Community House must have reopened, and bans on travel and assembly lifted.

If deemed safe to proceed, I will need the funds required to confirm the event.

Accordingly, the sale of tickets will begin May 10th. You will be able to purchase tickets online at our forthcoming website, by credit card and PayPal, or by mail.

In the event of postponement your purchased tickets will apply to the rescheduled reunion, or you may request a refund.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE NOTE:
Online purchases will be refunded less both the original processing fee and the refund processing fee. Checks can be returned or voided at your direction.

Hotel cancellation policies vary, most state cancellation 24 hours in advance of scheduled arrival are penalty-free.  Check your airline policies.

If it is necessary to postpone I will endeavor to announce a date as soon as it is reasonable to do so.

To summarize:
1. Ticket sales will proceed, beginning May 10.
2. Insufficient ticket sales by June 9 will cause postponement.
3. Health advisories on June 9 may cause postponement.
4. Purchased tickets can be used for the rescheduled reunion or refunded.

It will be sad to postpone but our health is the most important thing.

Stay well,
Wood
