MAY 28: 50 YEARS AGO: SENIOR DINNER / MEMORY RECORD

Hello.

Fifty years ago tonight, we all gathered together for Senior Dinner.

It was a simpler time; we didn’t have to wear masks, or wash our hands (as much). We thought we were adults, ready to go out and change the world. From our present vantage point we were just children.

But we had fun, we announced our mock elections, and if you recall, we sat in silence as we all listened to the Memory Record for the first time.

For your enjoyment I have enclosed the Senior Dinner program, and a YouTube link to the memory record which I have adulterated with pictures from the yearbook - purists will please close their eyes.

Thanks again to our 1970 Memory Record Committee:
Jim Coran, Chairman / Bill Swayze, Engineer / Vicki Hague / Craig Bond / Bill Anderson / Cindy Blanchard / Andy Marcotty

And Thanks to the 1970 Senior Dinner Committee:
Debbie Clark and Betsy Westcott, Co-Chairpersons / Nancy Powors / Cheryl Sorber / Laurie Cone / Jim Coran

Now I will return to my coconut snowball.

Be well, and have a great Skip Day tomorrow!

Wood
