Bio: Drafted into the US Army, July 1972 (after losing my student deferment!). Married Christine Shedd from Bad Axe, Michigan, September 1972. Stationed in Germany, ended up spending 4 great years there. Daughter Kimberly (1973) and son Reed (1974). Reassigned to White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, January 1977. Ended military stint, July 1979. Began work as civilian civil service at White Sands, July 1979. Retired from civil service, July 2009, as Director of Operations, US Army Research Laboratory, White Sands Missile Range.
Grandson Gabriel, twin granddaughters, Emma and Elizabeth who all live in Mesa, AZ. I love playing guitar, golf, and fly fishing. Wish I had been more involved in school activities at Seaholm, school was not important to me at the time. Fondest memories were watching Carl Charles and the rest of the team at basketball games, and sneaking into the gym after hours for pick-up games. Chris and I have lived in Las Cruces, New Mexico since 1977, love the weather, mountains, and small-town atmosphere. We return to Michigan every summer for a few weeks, visiting family in Bad Axe and Harbor Beach.
