Bio: Married Craig in 1975, had three wonderful children, taught school for 20+ years (Kindergarten, first grade, fifth grade, middle school, college). My volunteer work included working with boys in the Kalamazoo Juvenile Home in a reading program and tutoring women in Drug Court, to help them earn their GED. I left teaching in 2011 after being diagnosed with breast cancer. (Happily, I am 8 years cancer free!).
And then the next chapter began....grandchildren! We currently have EIGHT grandchildren and they are my new focus! Our three kids live in Connecticut, Pittsburgh and Salt Lake City (where I am currently sheltering in place). We travel a lot, mostly to see these sweet grandchildren.
We have loved traveling and over the years we have visited wonderful spots in the United States and abroad. Now, we spend most of our travel time visiting children and grandchildren, going up north to our cottage and spending several weeks in Florida during the winter.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, knitting, cooking, gardening, and getting together with friends. What a wonderful life it's been!
Helping to find some of you for this reunion has been a real joy! If I didn't know you before, I look forward to meeting you at our reunion! And if you're an old pal...I can't wait to catch up! I love seeing the shared photos on Facebook...they bring back so many great memories! It's been fun to reconnect with so many on Facebook. I've been fortunate to have opportunities to get together for lunch or trips with several friends from the good old days! I feel very lucky to be able to celebrate our 50th reunion with you!
