Bio: After graduation from Seaholm I attended WMU. Most people don’t know this but with the help of my friend Bob Stonehouse (Stony) I earned a 4.0 average.
One point the first year, one point the second year, one point the etc. Thanks to Bob for helping me to graduate, otherwise I might still be there.
After graduation I floundered for a few years. Bicycling through the Canadian Rockies, Europe and the East Coast. In 1976 l was saved from a carefree life when I meet Kristie. After a romantic year we married in 1977. After several jobs I landed at the local electric company; Indiana Michigan power company. While working here I experienced upsizing, downsizing, right sizing, and smart sizing. I spent most of my career in customer service and the last five in the engineering department. The last straw was when the McKinsey and Company consultants came in from the home office with their stop watches, data points and spreadsheets. They were here to teach us the business. So after 37 years I retired in 2015.
Now that I’m retired my activities include playing Pickleball 4 to 5 times a week, working at our church food bank, regularly making blood donations, shooting competitive pistol (who would have though), and DYI projects around the house.
We are not world travelers but have managed to visit Italy and Greece . Nothing better than spending time with Kristie, the kids and two adorable grandchildren Brody and Crosby, 7 and 5
