Education: Michigan State University 1970-72, The Ohio State University College of Optometry 1972-76, Univ of Wisconsin diagnostic drug classes 1978, Ferris State University School of Pharmacology therapeutic drug classes 100 hours in 1983. (and of course at least 800 hours continuing education over the last 40 years to maintain my practice license.)
Bio: Went from MSU, then to The OSU for Optometry School where I also met my future wife, so I can't say nothing good ever came out of the state of Ohio. Upon graduating, I joined a practice with a relative in Madison, WI for 3 years, then moved to Muskegon, MI to be closer to all the rest of the relatives and started my own solo vision care practice shortly thereafter. Helped raise our two daughters, saw thousands of patients and then retired after nearly 43 years of practice in 2018. (Eventually you get pretty good with all that practice!) We moved to Ann Arbor in 2018 to be closer to kids and grandkids and an elderly parent and are enjoying this new location immensely (except for the traffic lights with 3 minute delay cycles in each direction!)
