The 2020 Reunion is now ten months away.
We have found 28 more classmates since last month.
I continue to work on a website/photo sharing solution.
Lisa Geovjian contacted me and has kindly agreed to research tour opportunities to see what’s happening around Detroit. This info will help us in planning an itinerary for the reunion weekend.
Lisa and some classmates have already booked their rooms for Wednesday through Sunday at the Holiday Inn Express in Birmingham on Woodward (formerly known as Hunter Boulevard) just North of Maple Road. It is moderately priced and within walking distance to everything. She would like more 1970 classmates to join them. If you know you are going to attend the reunion, book now. Let’s fill this place up!
Thank you for your many kind notes wishing me an enjoyable vacation on Grand Traverse Bay last month. The temperature was cooler than I’d like, the water much cooler than I’d like, there were some personality conflicts and a drowning nearby - but none of that can spoil a Lake Michigan vacation.
Through the kindness of friends I find myself at the lake again, this time in Douglas Michigan. I do hope some of you will take advantage of the timing of the reunion, at the best time of the year, to plan a vacation here. Many homes for rent and Inns are booked a year ahead so make your plans right away.
